JUBAIL 3B IWP
Engie will develop a 570 MLD Independent Water Plant (IWP) at Jubail (Jubail 3B IWP). The Jubail 3B IWP is located in the town of Jubail, in Eastern Province of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A seawater intake and reject brine outfall will be built as part of the IWP. Acciona Agua and Shandong Electric Power Construction Corporation III (SEPCOIII) are the nominated Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contractor.
Intake and Outfall GRP Pipe Installation
- Dredging of the Pipe Channels (CH 0+010 to CH 4+600), Quantity: 580,000 m3 up to a depth of -16.0 m
- Installation of GRP Pipe (Intake and Outfall pipelines), Quantity: 11,880 m
- Installation of Chlorination pipe, Quantity: 9,180 m
- Gravel Backfilling Around the GRP Pipe, Quantity: 170,000 m3
- Backfilling Using Dredged Material On-Top of GRP Pipe, Quantity 460,000 m3
- Dredging at the Location of Intake Tower, Quantity: 28,000 m3 at depth of -16.0 m
- Installation of the Intake Tower and Backfilling Around the Tower: Quantity: 2 No. 370 Tons each
- Installation of Outfall Diffuser and Backfilling On-Top of Pipe
- Navigation buoys, supply, and installation, Quantity 3 No.
