RABIGH 4 IWP
The project site is located in Rabigh Area, on the Red Sea coast, in Western province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project pipelines are located at the following coordinates: Latitude: 22.662 º N, Longitude 38.798 ° E
The design data for the water intake and brine outfall are as follows for the Rabigh 4 plant:
- Intake flow rate=1,500,000 m3/day
- Outfall flow rate=900,000 m3/day
Intake and Outfall GRP Pipe Installation
- Excavation / Dredging of the Pipe Channels (CH 0+010 to CH 0+878)
- Installation of GRP Pipe (Intake and Outfall pipelines)
- Gravel Backfilling Around the GRP Pipe
- Backfilling Using Dredged Material and Armour rocks on-Top of GRP Pipe
- Dredging at the Location of Intake Tower
- Installation of Intake Tower & Backfilling Around Tower
- Installation of Outfall Diffuser & Backfilling On-Top of Pipe
